The retro towel bar with some great dishtowels in front of the sink is reminiscent of an old farmhouse. In this kitchen they used glass pendant lights but nice tin types would also add a nice touch. This wall mounted faucet
and the high back sink sets the country or farmhouse look for this kitchen. Here are more wall mounted faucets ideas.
The mullions add a custom look to the glass doors. The doors and drawer fronts are inset, with a bead profile on the doors. I wasn’t able to find the exact knobs used in this kitchen, but we have had a few customers use the Provence Collection in their county kitchens. I did locate the ceiling light in this kitchen and another one that is similar. Looking for more ideas on country lighting.
Another element we see a lot in the country style kitchens is the cup pulls. We have many catalogs and sources available for our customers.
I love this sliding barndoor with the chalkboard in this kitchen, it hides a storage area. We had a customer have a pantry door done with the chalkboard and have just loved this idea since. It was fun as we were coming for dinner, so she had the menu written on the chalkboard and included my husband’s pie as dessert. You can buy the chaulkboard paint at your hardware store and I found the exact barn door kit shown in the picture.
Adding freestanding or antique pieces like an island or china hutch can give you the historic farmhouse kitchens look. They can provide a key display space for collectibles and give your kitchen a unique look. We have done several of the plate holders for country kitchens. This is a fun way to display your special plates.
